Framingham Grows Food

The mission of Framingham Grows Food is to grow food and build community. We cultivate community well-being by connecting people, places, and resources, to increase access to food growing opportunities for everyone in Framingham. We aspire to advance our mission through the following activities:

• Promoting, celebrating, and supporting existing community gardens in Framingham

• Serving as a network and resource for local community garden leaders

• Advocating for the development of new food growing spaces for individuals, families, and neighborhoods whose needs are not currently being served by existing community gardening opportunities

• Developing community partnerships to help bring food gardens to local institutions and organizations

• Leveraging volunteers to assist with garden workdays and larger-scale projects that increase access to fresh, locally grown food in our community

• Continuing to build a network of gardeners to help us achieve our mission
